The Maths Factor

The Maths Factor is an online maths tutoring site for 4-11 year olds.

The Maths Factor is FREE for everyone to support children’s learning at home for the duration of the schools closure period.

The heart of The Maths Factor are short sessions designed for daily use. Each session starts with a lively video tutorial by Carol Vorderman, followed by a fun warm-up and then a practice. There are over 1,000 of these sessions, arranged into 32 topics.

Accelerated Reader Word Millionaires

Amidst the fear and adversity, we have some amazing news… We now have two millionaires attending our school…

Congratulations Conor in P7 and Amber in P6!

When we return to normality, I will ensure you are both rewarded for your wonderful efforts.

To those of you who are enjoying our Accelerated Reader, please take up the challenge to be the next millionaire. To those who haven’t started yet, you’re never too late.

Please access the numerous online books and remember many of your own books at home are AR friendly too!

Message for Key Worker Parents/Guardians:

If you are interested in your child attending a hub school within the Larne area please email us at before 12:00 noon tomorrow (Wednesday).

Please include your name, your child’s name, and your key worker role (please note that availing of a key worker school place should be a last resort when no other option for childminding is possible).

Our school unfortunately remains closed due to the unavailability of staff and therefore the inability to guarantee the health and safety of both staff and children.

Thank you for your understanding.
Please join me in praying for both our health and our well-being.
